Today, June 14, we mark 13 years since the official opening and commissioning of the "New Europe" bridge, also known as the Danube Bridge Vidin - Calafat.

We inform all drivers that strong crosswind gusts are being observed in the vicinity of the bridge. The roadway has been cleared of any fallen objects and is safe for passage with increased caution.

The road surface on the Danube Bridge Vidin–Calafat is clean and dry, and travel conditions are good. According to the forecast for the area, wind speed is around 17–18 km/h, with gusts reaching 40–48 km/h. Due to the open structure of the bridge, gusts may feel stronger on the bridge span.
